I am so excited to announce that I am headed to Haiti WAY sooner than expected… eeeeeeep!! I leave May 28th and will be there for 18 days. I am headed over with my dear friend Shannon who lives there.
While there, we will be a part of a few different things. I will be staying with Shannon and her family at the World Wide Village guest house. We will spend a few days in a remote village (when I say remote, I mean remote… like drive 7 hours to the end of the road, and then a few more hours) South of Haiti. We will also be heading to a local school that partners with World Wide Village. After our short trip there, we will head back to Port-Au-Prince and we will be working with a community assessment project through World Wide Village. This project will assess where villages are and how they can be supported/helped. We will also be partnering with Real Hope for Haiti (a malnutrition clinic and also a Cholera hospital) to fit molds for hearing aids for Haitians. I am so excited to be a part of these amazing projects, but also to spend some good quality time with Shannon and her precious family.
I also wanted to let you guys know that my new store has opened and I couldn’t be more excited! You can head over to my store at http://elizabethann.storenvy.com/ to shop around. All of the funds go straight to my Haiti funding. There are headbands, custom verse cards, t-shirts and more. :) Please also feel free to share that with anyone you feel led to!

Also, I will have my computer in Haiti so I will be continuing to blog while I am there. Thank you again for your support and prayers! It means the world to me!

Christianna - Hi Elizabeth. My name’s Christianna and I too attend Church of the Highlands. I only know that you do through my mom, who’s been begging me to talk to you because she knows your mom who has said such great things about your photography. My mom knows that I’m passionate about photography, but I lack proper equipment and just don’t know where or how to get started really. I was interested in how you became a photographer. The main reason I’m asking you specifically for this advice is because I’ve seen your work and I think you’re amazing! Any pointers or recommendations would be helpful.
